Aces High

Description

"I was working Sweden Rock festival 2018 when Iron Maiden played as one of the headliners. I knew that they where going to have a plane on stage during one of my favorite songs Aces High.

Out of 80+ photographers i was one of the 20 who got to work in the pit.

I knew this a few days before the festival and i was planing to do a wide shot to get the grand moment with the plane on stage.

I stood there waiting and the band hit the stage and the crowd of 60.000 people exploded when they hit the stage. I had taken my spot and waited for the moment to come when Bruce Dickinson takes the high note in the song and during a few split seconds tha band backed of and he stod there under the plane in a powerpose and tok the note and i got one frame of it, then the band was back around him.

Everytime i see the photo i get transported back and i can hear the crowd and smell the smoke from stage and that hairraising moment that forever will be frozen in this photo."
