The photography of Marianne Lind gives the impression of abstract paintings. Her motives are complex interpretations of light and color, or shards in a kaleidoscope, as Marianne herself would express it. In three different series we get to follow Marianne Linds curiosity for light, patterns and illusions. In the two separate series Streams of Light and By the Sea, we’re invited to view the light in different shades together with the color of it’s surroundings merge into one when reflected in glass. In the third series, Landscapes, we get to view a torn grafitti wall turn into abstract landscapes in pastel colors.
