There is an irreverence in Johan’s work, a breaker of rules with a disregard for what we have tacitly come to an agreement on to not point out to each other...
... yet, do you want to walk around all day without knowing that you have toilet paper stuck to your shoe? Even if you lose it before ever finding out that it has trailed you all day and no one informed you but they turned and a wry smirk flashed across their faces ever so fleetingly?
So, subdermal is the word that comes to mind, Johan gets under your skin and there is a darkness there that he enthuses with his sense of light but spend some time in his world and it is like having a tooth pulled, necessary but it makes the boo boo better...
Or a band-aid that needs pulling...
...just pull this one slowly. It’s worth it...
