    "Like the shape of a tear or an ice cream cone the Basilica of the Madonna delle Lacrime dominates the Syracuse’s skyline and houses a statue of the Virgin Mary that allegedly wept for four days in 1953 and bestowed more than 300 miraculous cures. Whatever, it’s a beautiful church made for reflection." - Johan Brink
