"I have always been drawn to the darker things in my years as a photographer.
So stepping into black metal and other forms of metal was very natural, metal is something that has been in my ears since my teens and always has a warm place in my heart.
This portrait of the singer Dennis "Seregor" Droomers in Carach Angren speaks to just that side of me as a photographer, the spooky and dark and heavy music son comes like a pressure wave behind him while his eyes roll up in his head. In the dark there is so much beauty and it is a trail that I still explore today." - Robert Hellström
