Rasmus Norrbygård bought his camera some 10 years ago when he moved from Finland to Sweden, and it was not until a few years later he started to make use of it and establish his vision. The main subject and theme for his work are the streets, and the little moments in everyday life. These moments occur during a fraction of a second and take the viewer out of the mundane. ”I'm capturing these moments and feelings in my own way. Sometimes I get caught by a mood, feeling or just the sheer moment.” says Rasmus who keeps things simple with straight lines and painterly colors. And is usually seen with a digital or film camera with a 50mm lens around his neck. Rasmus achieved second place in the category "Single Image Up to 29” in Gothenburg Street Photo Festival’s photo competition in 2021 for the image Radiation Fog.
